HELP -positive and negative sidelight wire ?

Hello,

Im fitting DRLs and need to join into the side light circuit, and join on to the positive wire.

which one is positive on the left there is a purple wire and brown, and on the right there is a purple with a yellow stripe and a brown wire.

which ones are positive ?

This is for a 03 polo 9n

please help!

Brown is always the negative in VW wiring looms.
