What Budget Coilovers?

Post by cupracraig »

Hi Guys,

looking to do some tasteful MOD's to the 6R 1.2s AC over the coming months, Nothing mad, just some wheels and Coilovers.
I have a set of Audi 15" Pepper Pots waiting to go on, but i want to lower it before i do this as tyre choice will then be important.
I don't want to go silly low, but i want to allow the wheels to fill the arch a bit more, so maybe 50-60mm.

i keep seeing JOM coilovers popping up and wondered if anyone was running them? i dont want to blow loads of money on this, afterall, its not going to be going that fast anywhere. But i want it to look right and not have any issues with MOT's etc.

any advise would be appreciated!

or even H$R springs with 55mm rear.. although then you are pushing the shock beyond its limits really

Having ridden Jom and fk I'd choose fk over the Jom personal choice though :)

they what i have, not best for track day cars, but class for daily, had them on year n half now, no problems, also go down more then other budget coils so get lower, just make sure ya take the helpers and adjusters out, otherwise they just not low enough, but thats just 6r's tbh high as f**k
