1998 1.0L polo exhaust queeries

Post by JonnyDude94 »

hey everyone on my polo at the moment i have the had the backbox removed leaving the middle silencer and catalyst in place, im thinking of taking out the catalyst just wondering if anyone has done this on a 1.0l polo and how it sounds, just dont want to waste my time and have it sound rubbish? im only doing this as im in the process of doing a complete engine swap and well the exhaust is off i thought why not? so how will it sound??

Removing the catalyst is not a practical idea. It will make no difference to how it sounds and will just push your emissions off the scale leading to an MOT failure
