Any Warranty Issues?

Hi all, Maddy (the Polo) is going into the dealer on Wednesday for her 20k/2 year service and to get a few niggles sorted out, what I wanted to know is if I have HIDs installed will it void the warranty for the headlights only or all of the cars lights? I'll be taking the TDI 'chip' off too so nothing is void in the engine department.

If it Vw Bury / Bolton i would highly recommend taking everything off it mate. Including any LED bulbs as daft as it sounds. They are the biggest a-holes around. I take mine to VW blackburn now just on the principle of not giving either of them the business.

@NMavs - My car was sourced from there and brought to my local dealer. When trying to source some paperwork, the mine said Bury was very uncooperative!

I can believe it mate, they have no interest in anything after they have sold you the car. They try to insult your inteligance and rape you for anything they can. Anything that isnt standard gets marked down on the system, and when a part has failed that is clearly a warrenty issue, you get told ooh no, thats due to wear and tear, it's going to cost you this much!! Service manager actually tried to tell me that the reason my dsg box kept faulting was due to the spark plugs that was fitted to the gearbox to which i was speechless haha
