Non starting solution found!
Hi all little help if you find the same problem with your cars! My car wouldn't start and got the starter motor checked and it was fine, replaced ignition barrel still no joy, replaced the ignition relay and still wouldnt play ball. Turns out that the polo has a wire with a switch in it to stop the starter motor firing if it's an automatic and is in gear, and for some reason the manual has it aswell! ( even though it doesnt stop the starter motor when its in gear ) So I took the wire out and replaced it with a straight cable to the ignition relay, problem solved! Spent a lot of time humming and swearing about this. So if you guys run into some troubles I hope this can help!
