polo 1.6 engine.. exhaust manifold...help

As stated I wondered if any of you know more info on whether it is basically 1.4 engine when it comes to exhaust manifold as im looking to replace the manifold and decat the car, but this is all I can find...

wondered if it will fit .. if i have to make few mods to make it fit ? wondered if anyone had any info.. or decated there 1.4 as i beleive the cat is in the manifold...??

All I can say is you are correct in as much as the 1.4 has a "manucat", and that ebay item will be as it is described, ie a "manucat" but with no cat element in the space where it normally lives.

Maybe have a look on the seat forum as they used that engine more.

Thanks for the reply ! i will check out the forum and have a nose the 1.4 manifold should fit with some modifications .. I might just chance it!
