Wanted: New Polo BlueGT

Post by AndyGTi »

This is mainly a question to anyone that works at VW Dealers.
I am after a new BlueGT in blue silk 3dr manual with rcd510

I understand there is one due to arrive at Dealer in next few weeks, but I don't know where. Rather than ring loads of dealers, I thought someone on here might know who has one.

I definitely don't want one with alcantara or loaded with whole options list.

If you can help please PM me and I will respond.

Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't you want it with Alcantara?

I have sat in two BlueGT. Both with the leather/Alctantara interior. It is sooooo much nicer than the grey/blue cloth interior.

But I must say the Silk Blue is a very nice color.

I'm after a BlueGT myself. I want it with only 2 doors in white with the dark alloys and the leather/alcantara interior.

Our first one went out on Friday and we have a demo, chances are you will have to order one as not many dealers will have them in stock to sell.

Hi there

I am not interested in the Alcantara because its £865, also I like the Speed Blue Cloth standard option.

Thank Ste-j, I'm finding it difficult as not many dealers seem to have them or they are loaded with options I don't want.

Anyway, looking like I will be factory ordering.

Thanks

My dealer had none coming through for stock so it was a factory order, my week has been on confirmed as 13

I like the stock interior

Yeah. That is a lot of money for the alcantara interior. But it cost more than 3 times that here in Denmark... £2.552,33 to be precise...

Will be very interesting to hear more news of these. I own a GTI but the performance of the GT seems to be more than adequate. This Cylinder deactivation technology seems incredible, I can't believe that it is almost indiscernible when the car switches between 2 and 4 cylinders.

Good luck to potential new owners, I will be looking out for updates! :D

HI wigit

No, it's not from Ridgeway wantage, but I did go to one of their other branches but found them useless. They obviously didn't want to sell a car.
Not long to wait now.

Teull me anyone get totally ridiculous annual quotes from VW Insurance when you get the free 7 day cover. Mine was double the quote I had from existing insurer, and not far off double on my existing policy for my GTI.
