hi guys new to vw's and not the best start as iv got a problem all ready
what it is when im driving say doing 50mph the revs will have a sudden drop for like a second and then back to normal.
any idea on what could be causing this?

Could be a misfire or in fact all manor of things
Get it scanned with vagcom/vcds

ok guys iv managed to fix it
what i done was cleaned throttle body n egr valve after i connected my trusty ebay special obd
and used software called vwtool and did a TBA (Throttle Body Alinment) and then calibrated the voltage on the egr valve.
this also solved my irratic idle problem.
i dont know how to post the software and instruction on here but if you want them i can send it to you over email just ask.
