6N2 GTI coilover

Post by Sebastian Polo »

Hello Polo guys!

I'm going to buy a Polo 6N2 GTI. Right now the car is fitted with the stock suspension from a 6N 1.6 8V. I want a coilover kit and would like to see what you think of the different kits available. Right nok I'm looking at a Spax RSX coilover http://www.dubmonkeyz.co.uk/spax-rsx-co ... -363-p.asp and a Koni coilover http://www.candrenterprises.co.uk/shop/ ... ar-polo6n2
Wich is better?
Is there any other coilover kits you would recomend (max. £1000,-)? It has to be a coilover kit with adjustable damping rate.

Hey Sebastian,

I know Ben (6N2GTI00) had the Spax on his Polo and highly rated them. For that price I would strongly recommend looking at Weitec Hicon TX coilovers too they're part of the KW family.I have had the non dampening adjustable version the gt's on my Polo for the past few years with nothing but praise.

Hey Bradley

Thank you for the advice. I can't find any information on the Weitec being with adjustable damping.
I also found a price of £1300 for the Bilstein B16 PSS9, would it be worth the extra 300 quid to get that one?

Best regards
Sebastian
