Polo 6R light switch = Polo 9N3 light switch?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at this light switch as it includes fog and its brushed chrome like the 6R I have.... The official 6R part is like 60 quid or more so I went to ebay and found this:

You don't happen to know if this will work on the 6R? It says it won't..... But it looks like its made for it!

It says its not compatible with the 6R but I looked on the Internet and apparently they are the same?

Does anyone know for sure?

They are the same. So it should work.
