Re: advice needed how do u remove upper grill ?
Did you ever get this sorted?
On my 9N3 it was 4 torx screws when you opened the bonnet. The problem was I never got the new grill to click back down flush.
Did you get your 6R grill off? It sits ON TOP of the bumper which means I should have a clicking down problem (the grill sat over the bumper on the 9n3). I'm thinking of getting a sexy glossy blue motion grill but not sure as having the word "blue motion" built into the grill kind of ruins the gloss.

Does the bluemotion grille not block the air intake though? I wouldn't think that warm air would be good for the TDI's.

Considering the bluemotion is a TDI of very similary design, i cant imagine itll be a major issuejammydodger wrote:Does the bluemotion grille not block the air intake though? I wouldn't think that warm air would be good for the TDI's.
It does have an air scoop channel too - its just thinner.

Ahh okay, I thought the bluemotion might have had the air intake in the the lower grille or something.

Awesome!! Didn't even think about the air intake being a problem.
