Hey, congrats on the record!!
my gti has pretty similar mods to yours, except the weight shedding..I'm having a hard time with 0-60 and 1/4 runs..
anything you can let me know technique wise? how do you get such a good launch? are you short shifting in 1st? traction control?

Good times there, I think I've seen a Ibiza TDI over on briskoda with similar times which is mad for dirty derv!

I found traction control being on was the best option, when turned off it just wouldn't put down the power and wheel span on the line wasting time , had my tyre pressures standard on the back and 20-25psi on the front ! I found leaving it in sport mode was and shifting up in 4th towards the top of the revs range most efficient , that gave me my best times !

well yea theres not much to it but it can be a pain in the arse ! i tend to get something in as leverage to twist it as the more tugging you do the more likely the clips are to break !
