Airbag light, resistor 6n2 ?

Hi everyone,
Still doing my 6n2 project car, and since the airbag light was on since I bought it; I decided to replace my worn standard wheel with a Momo.
So the issue is, I can't seem to find the correct resistance to cancel the airbag light out, tried 1.8 and 3.3 ohm, both seem to work for a while and then the light comes back on at random.
I think the code is something along the lines of "resistance too high" in drivers side airbag.

I have a 4ohm in mine and it seems to have done the trick so far I too changed to a momo and love it!!!

Patience and a small flat headed screwdriver! It is a massive pain!

Take all the plastics around the wheel off first as it makes it easier to get do and then there are two holes in the back of the wheel which enable you to Unclip the sprung clip that holds the wheel on, I did one and left the screwdriver in then did the other. Patience is key really the second time round I got impatient and bent the spring clip and had to cut the back of the wheel away! So don't try and rush!

Also I don't know what boss kit you have but I found that to get a good earth for the horn it's better to sand around one of the threads and bolt the earth between the wheel and horn (by sandwiching it between the too) when it was on the ring provided it kept going off while steering or not working at all!

To remove the original wheel you need a real stubby and WIDE flathead screwdriver, maybe 2" long?
Then twist wheel 90degrees left, push the screwdriver in the hole at the 'top' located in the rear of the wheel, and apply pressure until the spring clip is released. This isn't always clear so try pulling on the horn area, if its loose; then rotate wheel 180 right and repeat.
Be careful that you don't clip the first side in by accident!
Next you'll want to remove the airbag unit by pulling, and then unplug the airbag cable (yellow?) and horn.
I'm fairly sure it's a 24mm bolt in the center of steering wheel, hold the wheel still while you undo it! You don't want to destroy your steering lock. Also it's best to center the wheel before undoing the bolt too, so you don't misalign the wheels.

From there just follow the momo instructions, easy enough. Make sure you don't damage the slip ring! And feed the wires through the hub too.
