I know you can get them off ebay.de? But they come with all the pillars in black also.. And are fairly expensive..
Ill see if I can find them again to link you..

I've seen people who have sprayed their interior pillars with black plastidip and then either painted their headlining or 'wrapped' it in black suede with good results!

Hey, ta for that!
I have all the pillars ready to go in in black off a gti.
VW want £280.00 ex vat for the headliner.
And although i have heard/seen a good few people recover, i don't think i have the guts to do it myself.
I did inquire at a car upholstery guy near me, but he wouldn't touch it as it he said it would not look as good as the original so wouldn't do it.
So if i cant find a cheap one i might just have to leave it light grey with everything else dark grey/black .

Awesome,
For some reason i never understood why only the gti had grey/anthracite interior pillars/grab handles/visors and headlining.
Mine had all light grey, why oh why???
The dark grey to me makes the car feel/look so much nicer.
How would you go about sueding it?
Take it down spray/glue in small amounts whilst pulling tight?

It does look better with the interior bits a dark colour! I seuded my a pillars, was easy and looks really good.
Pretty much, get some spray adhesive from halfords/b and a.. Get a large cut of suede(obviously measure your headlining)
Apply the spray glue and leave to sit until it dries slightly, or it comes through the suede. And as you said just apply it and stretch. Smooth any bubbles out with your hand. Make sure you apply the glue evenly and enough of it. Sounds a but of a task but when you have the headlining out its easy enough after that! Haven't done it on my polo yet but done it on a previous car and worked a treat!
