Hopefully the 'upgraded entertainment systems' will be getting rid of that hideous Bury Bluetooth thing... any hope for a trapezoidal version of the Composition Media from the Golf 7?

Yep, just a new bumper and a slightly different interior, but remember the VW saying at Wolfsburg: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Yup- the existing car is the best looking supermini available IMO, and is selling extremely well.

I think its pretty dated now and past facelift time. I was expecting them just to replace it all-together with a new MQB chassis version using the EA211 engines from the Up and Golf MK7.Wolfi wrote:- And it is in its 5th year of production for this model...

Also if you look closely at the pictures the numberplates are from Czech Republic and labelled Skoda. My money is this a mule with next-gen Polo and Fabia underpinnings.
Remember the early Golf MK7 spy shots just looked like a MK6 except it had the new components under the skin

Re: 2014 Polo Facelift?
True, but the Golf 7 was an all new car, whereas I doubt we'll get a brand-new Polo until about 2016 at the earliest. That doesn't mean that there won't be more than the bumper changed, but the basic bodyshell won't change much (things like the basic structure and the window glass are expensive to change). About the biggest facelift is between the Golf 5 and 6- same basic shape but quite different looks.

The title for the pics is: "virtually undisguised"
So it might not evene look remotely like that...

Auto Express has used the same pics
Saying that it is a Skoda test mock up using a Polo, as the next Fabia moves onto the PQ25 platform

I'd have thought the Fabia will skip PQ25 and go straight to MQBNG6R14SEL wrote:Auto Express has used the same pics

It is sitting considerably lower than a normal Polo and the track seems a bit wider. Also the 'Bremsprobe' sign on the back means brake testing, which in theory wouldn't be necessary if it was still PQ25 with the same engines.
