Re: Polo 6r tdi
The 1.6 SEL is plagued with DPF problems....the 1.2 is probably a safer choice!
I was gonna get a 1.6 but have since gone off the idea lol

Re: Polo 6r tdi
The 1.2 tdi is surprisingly nippy as its got way more torque than a petrol equivalent - it isnt that far off what the GTI has really
The 1.2 TDI and the 1.2 TDI bluemotion both have DPF filters, but they dont suffer with the same problem. The 1.6 was riddled with software faults causing the DPF to not regenerate properly.

ahh nice to know, but i know its 0-60 in 14 seconds. My 1.4 80 is 12.9 and its gutless lolalexperkins wrote:The 1.2 tdi is surprisingly nippy as its got way more torque than a petrol equivalent - it isnt that far off what the GTI has really

Re: Polo 6r tdi
Yeah, rather high 0-60 but it really doesnt feel that bad, even compared to my Polo GTI.
Its the difference in torque that gives it more guts lol

Re: Polo 6r tdi
That's the only thing with the 6r, there's no fast diesel like the 9n3. I love the shape of the 6r but couldn't change as there's no equivalent engine.

Agreed. Ibiza FR TDI wouldnt be a bad choice tho?Eddie9n wrote:That's the only thing with the 6r, there's no fast diesel like the 9n3. I love the shape of the 6r but couldn't change as there's no equivalent engine.
