Removing Lacquer - Help

Hi

I have recnetly brought some BBS rims, i am in the process of getting them back to a chrome finish, but i cant remove some of the lacquer, I've tried paint stripper,but its not much love.
has anyone got any ideas, on how to get round this?

Take them to a local engineering firm and get them acid dipped or bead blasted.

I have got the splits blasted and the wheels dipped.

£30 a wheel - seems fair enough.

Should be ready Wednesday.
