Why does it have to be a diesel? The 1.2 TSi has very punchy performance and economy which almost rivals a diesel I also found out that the 1.2 TSi has lower insurance premiums than the 1.6 diesel despite it being a lot more lively

Im just so biased towards diesel cars...lol
i do a fair bit of long distance travel and diesels are the best for that...also good mix with performance and economy
you lost alooottttt of economy once a petrol has been tuned...not so much with a diesel though
I'm the same, I just feel that diesels are always the stronger engine and more planted on motorways. This is coming from a family that has only ever owned VAG diesels though haha, I'm looking at a Golf TDI for my first car at the moment.

hi5!...we have never really owned or even thought of buying a diesel car..my dads in the trade and only buys diesels! lol
