what throttle body for my 1.4 16v polo 6n2?

Hi people I got my first car about a month ago now - a black polo 1.4 16v 6n2
However it's been idling low since I got it and also hunting, I cleaned the throttle body, replaced coolent temp valve and still no joy, my mate scanned it with his vag com and he believes the sensor on the throttle body has gone so I'm looking to buy a new one this week, I was going to buy this one of eBay - http://bit.ly/18W1e2V but I was speaking to a mechanic at the weekend and I showed him this one, but he recons that the proper one is made by Siemens and this one isn't.
If anyone could confirm what he said cause ideally I'd like to get the proper vw part even if it's a few quid more.

That part looks genuine on eBay

Vw use a variety of manufacturers so the replacement wouldn't necessarily be made by the same company as your existing. As long as it is a genuine vw part it will be fine.

Cheers for the help, I just spoke to my local tps and they quoted me £425 for a new one from them!! I had to ask him to repeat that price as it's nearly half what i paid for the car! eBay it is then at least it comes with a 1 year warranty.
