engine conversion

Post by n00b »

i have a 1.0 8v and was wondering what i would all need to buy to convert it to a 1.4 8v and how much this would cost. I was also considering a 1.4 16v but thought that might be alot more work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

not worth it in the slightest putting a 1.4 8v engine in there......... 16v is slightly better, but you may as well go and buy a 1.4 16v polo, saves the hassle....

1.4 16v engines o for about £500..... but you gotta go get it fitted then whihc will be the expensive bit, and you might as well go and buy a 16v polo......

if you want an engine conversion...... get something worth it.....

wouldn't bother with the 8v 1.4 its slow and you won't notice much dif, you'd be better buying a 16v engine!
