i seen this on awsome gti but i had no picture so put the part no into google and i found this picture and i dont recognise it.

i do belive this is just the top section of the turbo intake pipe, it sits onto the piple leading to the turbo, hence why its cheaper than the forge one, the forge one goes right to the turbo

Apparently it's not a good fit, and that picture has to very wrong also. Stick with Forge for this

oh right seen, if i remeber correctly the standard TIP is rubber-metal-rubber? this just replaces the top bit going to the maf?

just rubber and metal, metal section bolts onto the turbo

fairly pointless, the largest point of restriction is the tight angle just before the turbo.
