6R Cruise Control Retrofit?

Easy? My 6R GTI needs it- I drive abroad a fair bit and it would be nice- how time consuming would it be to be done?
I see hazy days charge £450+ VAT for models without MFSW. I haven't got MFSW so it's starting to look pricey!

Hi , I had Cruise fitted to my sons R line , From what I see it looked a nightmare eddiegt on here is the man to ask , I dont think he would fit another it looked like a royal pita

It's a bit of a pain to get the wires to the BCM. But easy to get them out to the ECU.

And from memory a right PITA to get the ecu out of its tamper proof cage and make a decent job , Not for the faint hearted .
