Parts numbers required -pretty please

Post by Norbreck21a »

Hi all, we picked up the wife's new Polo Blue GT yesterday, and we absolutely love it (pictures later). Now we did a deal with our dealer that as we had specced the Polo with Xenons, the car would obviously arrive without foglights in the front bumper, however they would provide all the parts FOC for me to retro fit the fogs myself (which they did -all parts waiting for me in the boot).

However yesterday when starting the install I quickly realised that all the parts supplied were wrong and were designed for an SEL style bumper not the Blue GT one (which has a different profile). Now I know they should be able to find the correct part number for these parts, but given as they have already failed, I was wondering if some kind soul had access to ETKA and could give me the correct part numbers for the following parts please - so I can give them the correct part numbers to make sure they don't get them wrong again ?

For Polo Blue GT 2013 MY

Front left grill cover for foglights
Front right grill cover for fog lights

Front left foglights assembly (without DRL or cornering lights)
Front right foglights assembly (without DRL or cornering lights)

Light switch with position for front and rear fogs (for cars with Xenons and DRLs via LED's in the main headlights.

I would be most obliged. Thanks you all very much in advance.

Right there is nothing on ETKA that identifies bluegt / bluemotion or GTI vent grills as an isolated PN or PR code.

GTI is PR code PR-2JD, R-line PR-2JP and bluegt bits are PR-2JE none of which are against the grills with fog light cut outs.

The vent with fog cut outs is 6R0853665D9B9 (left) and 6R0853666D9B9 (right), PR codes against these PN's are PR-2JF,2JG,2JZ+8K0+8K1,9L0+8WB,8WG,8WH.

The codes for GTI/R-line fogs are and with xenon's you need the bottom pair:

So it seems the GTI front bumper and the R-Line front bumper share alot of the same parts? I wonder if the GTI lower honeycomb grill will fit in the R-line bumper to replace the Slat grill.

Can anyone confirm?

Don't know about the R-Line, but we've just replaced the Blue GT's standard slatted lower grill with the GTI honeycombed unit and it fitted perfectly.

Yes. The GTI grill will fit in an R-line bumper.
