GTI Air con

Post by BorisBasher »

Hey guys,

I'm very new here and i'm soon about to order a GTI polo :)

One thing i cannot seem to see is if the GTI comes standard with any type of air conditioning ? i thought it must do but i was spec'ing a car via the configurator and it was an option ?!

Thanks guys

Yes the car comes with air con as standard, or climate control is an option.

Yep Aircon is standard.

Luvvin mine. Wish I'd gone for the Multifunction steering wheel and the Xenons though.

I went Pearl Black but it's a bugger to keep clean and would choose different next time.

Red or White are classic GTI colours. I've seen grey which looks pretty good but doesn't appear to be an option. The Blue is different.

Just a little tip for you mate. Don't order the MFSW buttons, its cheaper to retrofit. Cost me £50 for the steering wheel control buttons. All you do is pop the steering wheel airbag out, 2 screws and the old trim comes out, then plug your new controls in. Job done :D Saves you £200 quid if its still a £250 option :D

Doesn't a retro fit also require a new stalk on the left otherwise you get issues with cruise control? If not I might have a go at this myself.

I can't imagine changing a stalk on the steering column is very difficult ?
