K&N Filter interchangeable??

Hi guys,

I have a 9n3 1.4 S 80 Polo with a K&N induction kit, 57i, what I am wondering is, when I change to a GTi 9n3, will I be able to use the same filter?

I know it may sound like a dumb question, but, they are just a filter even though its a different engine size.

Any ideas?

No.

The 1.8T uses a completely different airbox design.

Right ho, many thanks for your help.

I did realise it would be a slightly different setup, but thought the only difference may have been the bracket that's included in the 1.8T one.
