Where to by new dampers/shocks?

Post by GTI JOE »

Hi Guys,

Ok, have had my H&Rs 25/40s installed for well over a year now and I've replaced 2 of the OEM shockers (leaking), same place, left rear. Mismatch I would assume with the springs.

Looking at someplace in the UK to find the best price for proper sports dampers, such as Koni FSD or Bilstein B8s, that would suit the H&Rs. Preferably a place that ships to Australia.

Best price I could get was 482pounds for the Bilsteins, delivered? is that reasonable?

Over to you!

To be fair mate.....I hear nothing but good things about Bilstein kits. If that be coilovers, shocks etc. I believe they have a model of shortened shocks (cant remember the name) these would work well with your springs. There a good brand mate.....and without me trying to sound snobbish.....you do get what pay for.

I got my springs from DPM, the guys there are really helpful and they ship out quite quickly too!
