Spolier taken from 6N2 GTI want to put on Standard 6N2 1.0

Post by Kish »

Guys,

Can anybody help, I'm confused man.

I have a totally standard non-modified VW Polo 1.0 6N2 year 2000.

Alex has helped me alot so far.

Here is my problem.

I have purchased a VW Polo 1.6 16v GTI Rear Spoiler with brake light. Removed from Polo 6n2 GTI Tailgate.

How do I remove the brake light from my Polo and then slot the GTI spoiler in?

I have all the bolts.

But I may just use Tiger Seal instead of bolts.

Step by step or pictures anyone?

Thanks

Kish

The existing brake light pops out by releasing the catches under the two rubber grommets inside the tailgate lid

To fit the GTI spoiler, you have to drill two holes carefully in the bootlid to line it up - its not the easiest of tasks

Tigerseal may be a better choice and cut the threads off if this isnt an option for you
