Saludos from Mexico and a Wheel Fitment question!

Post by Jinez »

Hello mates my name is Juan and i'm from Mexico! i got my 6R last month and this is my progress so far...

Image

It has...

-17x7 Audi TT Six Spokes with 205/40

-Yellow Lamin-x on the fogs

-Debadge

-Sport Springs

I want to keep it clean and classy, the thing is that i'm not very pleased with the way the wheels look so today i got a set OEM Alloys they are 18x8 ET57 Ronal Manhattan, they are 5-130 from the Touraeg....

this is how they look on the MK4's...

But since i'm new in the 6R specs i don't know what thickness of adapters should i get or what range of ET should i achieve just to get them a little bit flush (i want to tuck tire with bags later this year), i used to have a Mark 4 Jetta and the ET range with spacers was between 15-25 just to have a Flush look but in the 6R i don't know, can someone please advice me what would be the best choice

Saludos!

Sorry for OT... But I thought all VW's in the U.S, and Maxico had sidelights on the front bumper...

In Mexico we get the Euro Spec Polo's that's why we don't get side markers
