RCD510 / MDI Query

Gents,

Would anyone know if there is a capacity for storage devices connected to the RCD510 via the MDI? From what I understand, there is a 32GB limit on the SD card slot, but I was wondering if there was a limit via the MDI?

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance!

I use a 32gb USB device with my mdi and the works without issue. I have 3 32gb devices which most of my music is stored on. I would be reluctant to use anything larger as scrolling through the menu is a handful enough at 32gb IMO.

i have to use a 16gb usb stick now after ive upgraded my phone vw need to update the MDI when i use my usb i find it so unresponsive pain in the arse

The limits are 1000 files per folder and 1000 folders per folder. Folders may be no more than 8 folders deep. Disks maybe upto 2TB in capacity but must be formated FAT32 not exFAT.
