Cheers mate, well I contacted them and they said they were sent, but they'd send another set out recorded this time which just arrived but of course not on a recorded delivery at all :? which is fine as I finally have them but overall not impressed with the service.

But you take your chances I guess

Sorry about the delay but I have finally got round to uploading the pictures of how to remove the headlights.
*These pictures are for Polo's with the Twin Headlight system*

So here goes.
First things first, I would highly recommend placing some masking tape under the headlight to reduce scratches when removing the headlight.

Image

Then you will need to remove 2 T30 screws as it shows in the picture.
Please bare in mind that the middle screw is for guidance. This stops you from pushing the headlight too far back.

Image

The next bit is a tad difficult. You will now need to remove the wiring harness connecting to the headlight. This is abit tough.
There is a clip on the side which you will need to push up and then pull the headlight out. I find that using a screwdriver to push the clip up, then pulling the connector off.

Image

Once disconnected, you will now need to place your hand behind the light and lift up and pull out. You have 2 clips under the light holding it in place. This will take force but will jump out. This is where the masking tape comes in handy.

Image

Job Done! Take your time and let me know how you get on.
Thanks!

Yes it is. The yellow & brown cable are the power cables to the headlight.
Disconnect this and youll then be able to remove the light :)

Almost a month and still I'm too chicken to actually do this myself.

I'm on nightshifts this week so might just take it to a garage to do it in case I mess up alignment and stuff haha

Reckon they'd charge ages because they've to take out the headlights?

Dude, it's a 5 minute job seriously. You'd be mental to pay for someone to change your bulbs!

I did it today. I paid someone lol. I just don't like messin with electronics. Taking out those cables was too much :(

He did notice that one of the clips in my passenger side headlight was broken and I should get it repaired so will look to do that next I think.

Happy to have them in. If one of them blows then I will definitely try to replace them myself. I just didn't feel confident enough!

I would still fear breaking clips when lifting the light out (the two clips which take force to remove would cause me issues)
