When I buy Kufatec kit, I have to choose "Factory fitted fog lights?:"

I don't have Factory fog but maybe I will get them in the next months.

What do you think I should choose and what are the differences in the kit if I choose that.

Thanks.
I have fittet foglights to my BlueGT aswell. Couldn't have them from the factory because of th Bi-Xenon's.

But they work fine and you also need the switch for the foglights aswell. :)

Only thing is that you can't code it to us the foglights for the Coming/leaving home since they go around the BCM.
joelburbidge wrote:Can some confirm this the foglights for the bluegt are the same as the gti and the gti foglights part number is 6r0 941 062f
The foglights are the same... BUT as with the GTI you need the ones without DRL if you have Bi-Xenons.

You have only listed the number for one of the lights. The part numbers are:

6R0 941 061 F - Left foglight without DRL
6R0 941 062 F - Right foglight without DRL

Not if the foglights aren't factory fittet... Because they aren't connected to the BCM.

But did you have to change the number for the highbeams to work after installing?

It's seems to use the lowbean instead of the foglight for CH/LH. I think I will prefer that if I have bixenons.

After the installation of the fog lights is simpler. (I think I posted in the forum electric diagram).

To install the fog lights as factory to have the CH/LH, ADL, and other parameters, is necessary to have a high BCM. Your BCM is surely high, but as I mention it's easier to install the fog lights without these features.

As you see, I have configured the CH / LH xenon headlights and is much better than through the fog lamps. White and clear ... My factory fog lights are not connected to the BCM.

Thanks for the reply.

If I order the kit without Factory fog's, does the light switch will come with the front fog position?

Maybe all the light switch that have the auto position also have the front fog position; but I don't want to have a light switch with auto and without front fog position that I need for the future non factory front fogs.

Thanks, Gracies,

It matters little take the light switch with front fog position and not have the front fog lamps (considering that you're going to install in the future). I've never seen a light switch to AUTO position without front fog position. I do not know if it exists. :?
Best Regards .. :D

edit....

take out the seat and lay on your back looking up... It's a pain in the ass but take your time and make sure to do it right the first time...

For anyone interested, I ordered a second one of the mk4 golf auto headlight modules and switches for my 6R and it works perfectly

Just had to tape over the TfL pin so only sidelights run as DRLs

Works just the same as on my 6N2 now :)

Do you have an image or link of the auto headlights module?
I misread and thought you installed xenon headlights.
