Took awhile but finally managed to do it. Just needs the gti upper grill now which I may get soon to finish the front off.

Does anyone else think it looks better with the side grills on lol?

It is a straight fit. But only on the R-Line, BlueGT/GTI bumpers. Doesn't fit the regular bumpers.

Looks much better mate :) Ive been considering having all my grills sprayed gloss black and the rear diffuser. Just a little concerned about what they will look like after a couple of weeks though. My front bumpers absolutely peppered with stone chips from our crap british roads :(

Ive seen an absoloute amazing pic of someone who gloss blacked the front grills on a r-line and put two white lines coming right down in the quaterly sections of the bumper

hard to explain but it looked like a golf R front bumper...proper wicked

Cheers!

It sets of the front of the car a lot more. I really like it! It needs the GTI front grill now to finish it off I think but im finding it hard sourcing one for cheap.

Do you have any pics of glossed R-line? I would like to see it cos im not sure what you mean.

My R-line lower slat grill is for sale as well now for £40 if anyone wants it :)

I like the R-Line bumper... Just not the parts on the foglight surrounds that are bigger than on the GTI/BlueGT...

And not a fan of the two white stripes either I must say...

But that said it would be horrible if everybody had the same taste... Everything would be the same. :D
