Headunit problem!

Hi,
I Wondered if anyone could help me out, I've recently upgraded my headunit in my 2010 polo, I bought all the correct harnesses and adapters from halfords and the headunit powers up and works great, however the head unit does not power down....I was under the impression this was a simple fix and all I had to do was switch the yellow and red wires, however I have done this and the issue still remains.

Any help would be appreciated,

the fitter must have put the permanent live in the wrong place when its supposed to disconnect at removal of the key

Yeah get a sparky to fix it lol

unless you can understand the diagrams given with the headunit and can use a voltmeter
