I have a friend who is concidering that kit on his 6N2 GTI (my old car). How complicated is the install?
Do you perhaps have a link to a installmanual?

It's literally plug and go

The only bit you have to do is remove jumper 3 and tag the red wire onto one of the indicator wires for leaving home function :)

Ok.
In Italian and French forums they install and are very happy.
These modules are valid for all vw models that have the light switch connector 17 pin. There are also modules for light switch 10 pin.

Those instructions are pretty good to be fair. The ones I have are a poor Chinese translation!

It's a good kit though. Well worth the money

I see you have the same problems I did... My highbeams and rear fog didn't work either.

No matter what the rear fog wont turn on. But I never use it anyway so I bought a tail light from a right hand drive Polo (Mine is left hand drive) and is going to have reverselights in both sides instead.

With my highbeams the coding was changed... I'll see if I get the number that it was changed to for you tomorrow. :)

Tomorrow I receive the kufatec kit, but I need rear fog, so I have to solve how to do it or try the most OEM way.

I found this information in the French forum for Kufatec wiring, but maybe you knew this already:

In French:
CONNECTEUR A

Translate with Google:
CONNECTOR A
pin 1 on slot 1
pin 6 thou branches in slot 7 in place of the original that you let hang (thou branches= you connect, plug....badly translated by google :| )
the pin 37 on the site 37

CONNECTOR B
the pin 43 on the site 43 instead of the original leaves you hanging

once finished I'll tape the board cable pin 7 and 43 to avoid contact with other unfortunate part.

Mart!n-GTI-DK ..two reverse lights   , I thought a long time ago ... but it is mandatory to have the tail fog lamp.
