How exactly did you fit the springs? Ive got some to wack on my mk3 but looking in the Haynes manual and it seems like a big task? This strut tool business??

LOW PHAT SPREAD, where are you from? I'm sure i have seen this car before.

Or another red Mk3 Polo with phat-a$$ deep dish rims.
I saw one driving through Hindley (nr Wigan) not long ago.

Every1 keeps referin 2 me as if am a lad; fella, mate etc, but am a girl, just thought i'd tell ya that!!

The alloys and tyres were from German Ebay, they cost £350 (that included postage)

Me car int that spankin! I want a full respray, all the dents/rust sortin, and sum stuff done 2 the tailgate, but the cost is bit more than was expectin so just trying 2 save sum more cash!

Right, digging up a post from a while ago (ok, deep, dark into the archive!)

I have a set of mint ATS Classics for sale (see for sale section) Anyway, my car's lowered 70mm and i want something smaller now. These wheels are perfect. Can you give me some more details about them? How would i go about getting a set? The hassle of Ebay.de??

Cheers,

Steve

i dont recall there being a law against "mate" being applicable to females, or "guys" to a group... its kinda unisex these days (mostly words grabbed by women from men when they were more firmly male terms, but seems to be widespread now)... "fella" maybe not :)

i'm fairly comfortable using it as a term of address for anybody...... use it with female pals enough :D
maybe it's because the car isnt pink  ... us blokes tend to be thrown off a bit by that.. :D

those wheels are the bomb btw, hope you can get it lowered without it scrubbing too much... tho i suspect arch work will probably be needed!

concept-e: I found it pretty straight forward buying my wheels from E-Bay, just depends on the seller I guess, as to what type of service you get.
I just kept looking each day (advanced search, items available worldwide, 8x13, automotive category. Hopefully you are familiar with E-bay, so you will understand what I am on about!) until I saw what I wanted.
I used the translation tool (aswell as Speedlaw in the begining!) to comunicate. And a euro convertor to check the price when bidding.
Had to go into the bank to arrange my payment to be sent to the seller. Everything went fine, had no problems.
Hope this helps, good luck! :)
