Vagcom help

Post by JasonPollock »

Hi,

I feel I have exhausted the search function but still can't get the right answer. I have been playing with vagcom on my 2013 6R GTI but there are still some items I can't alter. I want to turn off the rear wiper in reverse, add the digital speedo and needle sweep, can anyone help me?

There was a thread somewhere I'm sure detailing some of these functions but I can't find it. For the digital speedo I have tried to change it to all the other country settings but with no success. Can anyone advise? I only have a lend of a genuine cable for a short period of time also :(

:D
Thanks, Jason

Where did you find the needle sweep? How did you do it in the end?

Strange! Is the "needle sweep" option blanked out as well?

For needle sweep you need to have a H type cluster which i believe are only fitted into GTI's and BlueGT's

You can find out what type of cluster you have by doing a scan of your car. This will show you everything about your car and will identify which one you have.

I've Set it up on 3 r lines which don't have the same cluster as either the blue gt or gti...
