Brake upgrade

Hi,
I need new brakes and there happens to be a set of passat callipers on our garage floor. Has anyone here fitted larger brakes before? If its at all possible, I take it they need an adapter but are there any aftermarket ones? I could try and get a set of adapters made in work.. They need new discs anyway so I could try and source some of those (think they're 312mm)
Any advice much appreciated

O and to be clear its the front brakes on an 07 gti

Passat 312s wont work without alot of messing. You need 312s from a mk4 platform car.

Do you know if the mk4s need adapters for the calipers?

You will need calipers and carriers then it is a simple bolt on job.
