Hazzy days cruise retrofit- any good?

I have a gti without the mfsw. Is the install likely to be easy? I don't want my car wrecked- but really need cc!

theres a few things regarding the CC on polo's

You need to know if your BCM is compatible with cruise control otherwise it wont work

And you can probably do it yourself if you have the right tools and follow a guide you can find somewhere here on uk-polos

If your bcm is not compatible then you will need to buy one that is

The Cruise Control button's aren't on the steering wheel in a Polo. They are on the indicator stalk.



I'm pretty sure the BCm in the GTI is ready for CC.

If you look on the link above it's more money for a car without MFSW so clearly it has something to do with it.

I just wondered what the process entailed exactly- if it's too big a job or messy I'm not too keen!

Is that not due to the convenience module though? Doesn't the GTI have paddles, which requires the more advanced convenience module? I seem to remember some guys on here upgrading to the MFSW simply by purchasing the buttons and plugging them in.

To answer the original question, yes I've used them in the past to upgrade the clocks in my old MK5 Golf a few years ago to the highline version.

Super guys, and everything went like clockwork. They even had a VAS tablet with them (which normally only the dealers have), and had access to VAG Wolfsberg get get the SKC code for it.

So yes, not the cheapest maybe, but they certainly know what they are doing.

Awesome GTI in Manchester offer the supply and fit the kit for £299 whereas Hazzy Days charge nearly £600.

Any reason why??
