6n2 central locking fault

hello, when i turn my car on and the central locking comes on, the pump stays on for about three or four minuets when it should go off after a few seconds.

if anyone knows this fault i would love to hear

That's an air leak. Likely on the fuel filler flap. Follow the air pipes and listen for hissing air

ok cheers. ill have a look tomo. why is the central locking linked the the fuel filler?

The central locking locks the fuel flap when you lock the car.
