hello, i need to know if my car will smash its valves if the belt goes? i no some cars dont hit the valves when they go. i cant really afford to do the belt unless i have to. if it doesnt do much damage im happy to leave it for a bit until got more money

Don't be foolish and skip a belt change. It'll be the end of the engine as the repair cost will be 5 or so times higher!

i heard some engines dont smash valves??

These do. And to be fair, just because they don't smash valves doesn't mean it won't damage the engine. It'll put the timing right out and could cause serious damage elsewhere.
