2008 mdy POLO Passenger window switch

Hi all

Wife's (new to her) polo has a problem with window switch on passenger front door, very temperamental suspect needs a new switch fitting, how easy is this to do, do i have to remove entire door card???


Any information greatly appreciated.

i think you have to take the door card off, but its easy..some hidden screws behind the the handle to close the door 30torx (i think)
maybe some screws at the bottom then it will just pull off
the switch should pop out then

Well, brought a new switch and replaced it easy enough, but the window still doesn't work from the passenger side, or maybe sometimes moves a little, suspect wireing.

Any more help or advice greatly appreciated before I have to take it to VW.
