Hi all, so I own a 2010 moda, and Its pretty high, especially at the back.
I really want to get a set of lowering springs to make, it look sportier, and overall nicer, nothing stupid though, dont want to be making it impractical or too low.
So I need some help in knowing how much lower I should probably go? kinda silly me asking you guys what I want, but I need help!
Also what springs are the best value, and best quality. I want to spend as little as possible, but not going to go cheap and cheerful route.
and my only last query is that about 50% of the time I have 3 passengers in the back, if I lower the car will it cause the wheels to rub in the arches or scrape anywhere when I have passengers.
Please help me out.
Thanks!

H&R 25/40 ..around £150
Got them on mine...with 17inch wheels..and fatter tyres than everyone...no scraping with the tyres at all..just a teeny little cute noise from the front on big bumps thats all
Best ones you can buy...everyone will agree
just do it.

Re: Lowering Springs - 1.2 Moda HELP NEEDED
thanks, car looks great.
Bit worried though my initial thought was like no more than 25. Would it rub with passengers in? also do I need any extra parts, and any idea on how much a garage would charge to fit them?
cheers

Re: Lowering Springs - 1.2 Moda HELP NEEDED
I have fat tyres and 17 inch wheels..only the front left wheel clips the edge of the wing...only on big humps etc
other than that absoloutely nothing...and ride + handling is spot on
Fitting them yourself isnt a hard job...but i suppose you have got the right tools?..
A normal garage should charge around £60-£80'ish, Its not a long job either...whole thing can be done in around an hour and half
Cost of the springs i have is about 150 , you can get them from your local EuroCarParts ...i got mine from them but on ebay
