So the centre bolt isn't actually connected to the car body?

I'm definitely gonna do it next time. . .i was as robbed for a change of bulbs.

Take out the two end bolts. . And basically bang the back of it? No chance of clips or anything breaking?

Unless it was physically stuck in the 2 clips. Not sure.
