Mine's on 25% gain, just enough for the stock system.

Anyone has install instructions of it? Where are we supposed to connect it?
Thanks.

I'm interested in this too. How 'plug and play' are they. I can't imagine all the wiring is already in place in my 6r gti......

Re: Subwoofer
Found a bit of a discussion about this on the german polo 6r forum.
Someone mentions doesn't fit the gti as battery is in the boot. Need to look at this further.

Use google chrome & it translates it for you if you are not fluent in ze jarman

The wiring is not in place in any VW from the factory...funlovincriminal wrote:I'm interested in this too. How 'plug and play' are they. I can't imagine all the wiring is already in place in my 6r gti......
The subwoofer is suplied with of course the Sub it self, a 300W 5 channel amp and wiring. between the original VW headunit. RCD315, RNS310, RNS510 and so forth. The wiring is plugged in to the back of the HU where it gets power for the amp and replaces the speaker wires and the plug for the speakerwires is connected to the new wiring via a plug on it, so that the amp also beefs up the original speakers of the car. From there the wiring is hidden along the edge of the cabin to the trunk where it's just plugged in to the amp on the sub.
Job done.

Re: Subwoofer

Subwoofer
Right guys so I'm back looking into this, I need to run the power for the amp from the battery, run a remote from the 12v in the boot, how do I run RCAs from the stock head unit? Does anyone have any pictures of which wires they spliced to install the RCAs?
thnks
