I don't see any reason why not. The stud alignment is spot on. Not sure about the offset with it being ET33, but I don't know too much on offsets, and can't remember the one for the Polo. And I think you can get away with 6.5" wide without any arch work, but again, ask one of the others who's been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Karl.

Spacer works by reducing the offset (in this case) so the offset would become 28mm if you did that. Its nigh on impossible to increase the offset - need to machine the inside of the wheel/hub mating surface which can cause other problems Like the wheel no longer fitting properly. ET33 would normally be ok but I would be worried about catching arches with them being the width and height that they are.

my wheels are 6.5 by 15" buy as for the offset, i don't no! i have 195/45/15 tyres and i am having quite bad problems with my scrubbing/ (i think i am the only one)
on the front the wheels scrub on the outside of the arch and on the rear the wheels scrub on the inside and on the lower part of the arch!

i hate my wheels scrubbing and it is taking actual chunks off of my tyres! not pritty! hopefully will be taking the car off the road to work on it sometime soon so will hopefully sort the scrubbing!

would 185/45/15 tyres make it better? it would mean the tyres wouldn't be so wide correct?
