The Git is going in for his first service this weekend. Barely run it at 3,200 miles but now a year old. Had a quick search and can't see a similar thread so apologies if I've missed it.
I'm going to tell them I've made the sidelight only DRL modification so don't try and fix that.
I'm also going to ask them to check for oil consumption as he's had a litre and probably due another top up now but anything else I should ask them to look out for? I think there's a DSG oil update?
I might pay for the super dooper clean as well, although a bit paranoid that they might give him swirleys.

No recall on the DSG for this model mate so don't worry about that. As for the clean, if your like me and don't want your 1 year old car looking like a 10 year old
