I have Vagcom,h100vw wrote:VCDS is for clearing fault codes. Which if everything is connected properly and serviceable, will turn off the warning lights.
Unless you have VCDS handy, always disconnect the battery before doing airbag jobs as the controller sees everything otherwise.
Gavin
and I did disconnect the battery for the airbag removal?
How can I use Vagcom to sort this out?

Would yu know exactly what I need to do?h100vw wrote:You log in to the airbag controller and check the faults and then clear faults. It strikes me that you need to do some poking about with VCDS, to learn it's capabilities.
There's an interactive thing on the website to show you what to do.

Honestly, you have an internet connection, which means you have google. Don't rely on asking questions on forums for answers mate.
There would be millions of times this has been asked before. If you don't have a real VCDS cable, do yourself a massive favour and get one or someone that does have one.

So happy haha
