Fitting New Steering Wheel

I've just bought a leather non multi function steering wheel to replace the bog standard plastic version in my new Polo Match.

I've read the instructions on here and watched a few You Tube videos but I'm having no luck.

I can't even remove the airbag! The two retaining clips seem to be held in place by a metal wire, and neither the clip or wire will budge.

Why can't anything just be easy?

prise it off!

you will need to apply pulling pressure onthe airbag as you undo the clips, there basically 'hooked' over a plastic bit so you only have to pry it down and pull!!
dont be afraid to use some man force
