I'm the proud owner of a new Polo (Went from a piece of cr@p 1995 1.3 to a 2011 1.2 tsi in only 6 years
)I've got the RCD 310 head unit, the VW branded Bury Bluetooth unit and an iPhone 5.
The bluetooth unit works fine for calls, but I can't get the bluetooth audio to to work on it.
Things to note:
It is paired.
It is selected to play on the iPhone 5 through the bluetooth kit.
The little MUSIC logo shows up on the Bury unit.
Sound does NOT come from the internal iPhone speaker when connected via Bluetooth.
By pressing the forward/back buttons on the Bury unit I can make the iPhone go through tracks.
I have Bluetooth Audio set to ON on the RCD 310 head unit.
I am guessing that my Bury unit is a VW branded Bury CC 9090 like this (as it doesnt say what it is anywhere)

although the colour and shape of the icons is different (Maybe this has a newer software version)
I'm wondering if updating the Burys software will help (If that even possible on a VW branded Bury unit)?
My Bury unit currently runs
Box SW Version 0181
Box HW Version 0004
Display SW Version 0192
Display HW Version 0704
(whatever the heck all of this means)
So, any help anyone?
