BlueGT - LED bulbs to replace the DRL bulbs?

The BlueGT standard headlights have separate DRLs but until mine turns up I don't know what bulb size they are - I'm guessing they will be halogen DRL bulbs, can these be replaced with LEDs?

I am also wanting this cleared up, do you know where the DRL's will be? Headlight level or where the fog lights are? The light and Sight pack on the SEL also adds 'separate Daytime running lights' but I'm unsure what this will actually change compared to not having it..

Does anyone know if the new polo will have all halogen bulbs? I hate the yellowish glow! Haa

I can only assume they are in the main headlight unit, though ironically, yellow is better for visibility than white/blue...

haha yeah thats true. The only thing with replacing the DRL's or Sidelights with LED's is when you have the dipped beam on, which I assume will still be a Halogen bulb (H7 or similar), the colour difference will make it look crap..

True, but you can get close to LED whiteness with decent bulbs, just depends what you want I don't think we're far off decent LED replacements for most headlight halogens either tbh.

Liking it a lot, I've always gone for Osram Nightbreakers as the Philips are more expensive, but the colour of the Philips is much better!
